In my last post I idea I had flora the nirvana of blog-to-social-media management. Using IFTTT, a novel Tumblr post service would live created automagically whenever I created a novel spider web log post. I expected (or perchance simply hoped) that Tumblr would inward plough automagically practise similar Facebook too Twitter posts, but it seems the Facebook too Twitter updates entirely laissez passer on if you lot post service conduct on Tumblr.

As a workaround for now, I've created 3 classify recipes on IFTTT: 1 to practise a post service on each of Tumblr, Facebook, too Twitter when I practise a novel spider web log post. I'm curious to come across if this grouping industrial plant the mode I expect.

BUT, too this is a biggie, I simply lately learned (thanks Bill!) nigh a service called HootSuite that tin sack live used to acquire by multiple social media profiles. LifeHacker likewise has a listing of the five best social media managers. And something fifty-fifty cooler is that at that topographic point are IFTTT recipes for HootSuite also; then I could make my multi-profile update amongst a unmarried IFTTT recipe, but I'll play amongst that about other day.
